Great News for Providers and their Coding Teams!

The AMA has developed a free tool called the Covid-19 vaccine calculator to help clinical staff determine the appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT^®) code combination(s) based upon the type and dose of vaccine that they are using. Using a series of questions, the tool will help providers determine the correct code to assign. The codes integrate tracking information utilized by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Center for Medical & Medicaid services (CMS).
