Course Features:
This eight-week course will review all four CCS® certification testing domains:
- Domain 1 – Coding Knowledge and Skills (51.9%)
- Domain 2 – Coding Documentation (10.1%)
- Domain 3 – Provider Queries (8.9%)
- Domain 4 – Regulatory Compliance (29.1%)
*This course will not follow the domains in order, however, we will present the material most appropriate for learning. In other words, we will not present material that requires a particular skill before the students learn the skill. e.g, DRGs weigh heavily on the principal code selection, there fore DRGs will not be presented before students receive instruction on Principal Diagnosis code selection. PCS scenarios will not be presented before PCS instruction. Etc.
