  1. Coding foundations

    Begin with medical coding fundamentals, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

  2. Advanced ICD-10-CM

    Develop diagnosis-coding knowledge through advanced ICD-10-CM instruction and guided practice.

  3. Advanced CPT and HCPCS

    Strengthen procedure coding with CPT, HCPCS Level II, modifiers and applied coding scenarios.

  4. CPC or CCS-P preparation

    Prepare for your selected professional coding certification exam with focused review and exam practice.

  5. Facility coding and CCS preparation

    Continue into advanced facility coding and preparation for the CCS certification exam.

CCS Boot Camp and a mid-month mock exam provide additional certification-exam preparation. Complimentary CCS preparation is available to qualifying MCDC students in good standing.
